Western PA Diaper Bank has provided +20,000 diapers to support 150+ restaurant families since March

Through our partnership with Western PA Diaper Bank, we have been able to deliver baby supplies to families throughout the Allegheny County region. Western PA Diaper Bank was founded in 2012 after it became obvious that diapers were one of the most frequently overlooked by government and/or private agencies. The Western PA Diaper Bank is the only regional nonprofit organization primarily focused on providing diaper services to families in the Allegheny region.

“In the five counties currently served by the Western Pennsylvania Diaper Bank, 18 to 30 percent of children ages 1 and 4 live in poverty. The estimated diaper need of these children is approximately 120,000 diapers a day (74,000 a day in Allegheny County alone) and growing. Disposable diapers cost up to $100 per month per baby.”
